Dues 2018

The 2018 dues for the Townside Homeowners Association have been set as the following:

$300 per each lot

Please utilize the “PayHOA” web system we have recently implemented. You should have a received a sign up email for this a few weeks ago. If you can’t find it (search for “payhoa.com”)  please send a note to “treasurer  @  townsidehoa.com” and ask to have the sign up sent again. The web system will allow you to pay online and maintain an active account with the HOA where you can see the status of dues, maintain your own contact information, and access a directory of members.

If you are unable to use the PayHOA system and prefer to send a check then please please make checks payable to “Townside Homeowners Association, Inc” and write your lot#, an owner’s name, or the lot’s address on the check and mail to:

Please submit payment by January 31, 2017.

After Jan 31 please add $30 ($330) to your payment as a late fee.

Easter Egg Hunt

Our annual Easter egg hunt will be next Sunday April 9th at 3 pm.

To all members of the Townside Homeowners Association, Inc our annual meeting will be Saturday March 11, 2017 at 9 a.m. at the Bishop Methodist Church (1082 Old Bishop Rd, Bishop, GA 30621). All residents are welcome to attend however only HOA members (1 owner per property) may vote.

The agenda will include discussions of ongoing and upcoming events in the neighborhood as well as an overview of the financial status of the HOA. However the current Treasurer will be out of town on March 11 and so information that would otherwise be presented at the meeting can be seen here. Any questions may be forwarded to the Treasurer.

Members will vote on a board of directors. Any members interested in serving on the board please contact the current 216-421-6447 to let him know your desire to serve (nominations will also be taken from the floor at the meeting as well). Per the 8285029227 the Board of Directors shall consist of at least 3 and not more than 7 members and shall be odd.

There were reports of more break ins last night (Dec 14) and this time a car window was destroyed in order to retrieve the laptop and wallet inside. There is a thread ongoing on the Townside Facebook page. This is just FYI here so people are aware to not leave valuables in their car if parked outside.

As many of you may be aware there was some burglary occurring in the neighborhood last weekend. Several homes were hit. Based on current information available they were “low hanging fruit” style thefts, that is, the thieves only opened unlocked car doors or unlocked home doors and snatched what was lying in plain sight. It is believed they occurred around 3:30 am.

There is not much that can be done now other than to forewarn others of the possibility of such activity and to always be sure to lock your car doors and house doors, particularly at night. Hopefully this (locking) will be a sufficient deterrent and they won’t step it up to the next level of actually breaking and entering.
