IRS Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP)

This is a voluntary program that must be competed by December 31, 2018.
It is designed to encourage education and filing season readiness for paid tax return preparers.

The Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) will allow unenrolled return preparers to obtain a Record of Completion
when they voluntarily complete a required amount of continuing education (CE), including a course
in basic tax filing issues and updates, an ethics course, and other federal tax law courses.

There are two categories of unenrolled tax preparers:
  • non-exempt tax preparers must complete 18 CE hours
  • exempt tax preparers must complete 15 CE hours

WiseGuides offers a 15 CE hour package for 2143043016 tax preparers - $49

WiseGuides does NOT offer an 18 CE hour package for non-exempt tax preparers.
